Adult Education at Temple Judea
At Temple Judea, we believe that learning is a lifelong journey—and that Kol Yisrael arevim zeh bazeh, all Jews are responsible for one another. Our Adult Education program is here to meet every learner where they are, offering meaningful opportunities to grow, connect, and explore through a Jewish lens. Whether your passions lie in cooking, reading, singing, or study, there is a place for you here.
Guided by the values of kindness, curiosity, and community, our offerings are shaped by the voices of our congregation. Through surveys, conversations, and deep listening, we design programming that reflects what truly matters to our members—and challenges us to grow as individuals and as a sacred community.

Judaic Learning
Our Adult Education curriculum is rooted in the belief that learning is most powerful when it brings people together. In times of division, we turn to Kol Yisrael arevim zeh bazeh—reminding us that we are responsible not only for ourselves, but for one another, our community, and our global Jewish family.
Through Jewish texts, traditions, and values, we explore:
-
Unity and Shared Responsibility (Areyvut)
-
Respectful Dialogue and Disagreement (Machloket)
-
Compassionate Critique (Tochecha)
Shabbat and holidays become platforms for deeper engagement. Torah becomes a conversation starter. We wrestle with tradition and faith, challenge ideas with respect, and walk away stronger—together.
Whether you learn best through group dialogue, solo study, or intergenerational exploration, our programs offer space for every voice. We invite you to learn alongside us—in community, with courage and compassion.
