Our Mission

At Temple Judea Religious School, our mission is to cultivate a vibrant and engaged community where every child and family feels a deep sense of belonging. We are dedicated to building a strong and meaningful Jewish identity, emphasizing the importance of Jewish knowledge and values, drawing upon the concept that the world stands on three things: Torah, Worship, and Acts of Loving Kindness. Together, we are committed to creating an exceptional Jewish educational experience for our children—one rooted in connection, care, and shared purpose.

An Approach Rooted in Relationships and Spirit

Our vision is to empower our students to:

  • Develop a positive sense of self deeply connected to their Jewish heritage and values.
  • Cultivate a lifelong love of Jewish learning and Israel, inspired by wonder, curiosity, and intellectual exploration.
  • Build skills of empathy and compassion towards themselves, others, and the wider world, embodying Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World).
  • Honor their spiritual lives through joyful Jewish rituals, hands-on experiences and acts of Chesed (Kindness).
  • Integrate prayer and modern Hebrew, emphasizing both liturgical understanding and contemporary relevance.

Jewish Learning & Values

At Temple Judea Religious School, Jewish tradition is vibrantly embedded in all our educational experiences. From celebrating Shabbat as a community to practicing mitzvot (commandments/good deeds) through celebrating the Jewish holidays, children live their Judaism through meaningful moments of connection, discovery, and learning.

Our curriculum creates opportunities of discovery and reflection on rich Jewish values, offering dynamic opportunities to explore, embrace, and grow. Through experiential learning and the cultivation of meaningful relationships, Jewish values come alive in authentic and inspiring ways, shaping not just what our students know, but who they become with the idea of keeping alive our traditions L’dor V’Dor, from Generation to Generation.

Letter from Rabbi Judith Siegal

Shalom! I am Rabbi Siegal, and I am delighted to welcome you to discover our extraordinary religious school. We are deeply committed to meaningful Jewish learning that weaves together worship, study, and gathering in every experience. Our curriculum is dynamic and experiential, inspiring students to connect personally with Jewish life, values, and traditions. Our school is a warm, inclusive Reform Jewish community where every student and family member is truly embraced and valued. Through engaging, hands-on activities, music, art, storytelling, and community involvement, students explore the richness of Torah, Jewish history, Israel, the Holocaust, and contemporary Jewish culture.

Our learning environment is further enriched by special guest speakers, joyous holiday celebrations, and family programs that deepen connections across generations. We firmly believe that strong relationships are the heart of education, and we are committed to partnering with you to nurture each child's Jewish identity.

Whether they're lighting Shabbat candles, dancing on Simchat Torah, or learning about Jewish heroes, our students grow as part of a vibrant, joyful, and caring community—one that is deeply rooted in tradition and lovingly guided by the values of Reform Judaism.
