Sharon Israel Moskovitz

Sharon Israel Moskovitz was born in Ramat Gan, Israel, and spent her early years traveling the world before her family settled in Miami. From a young age, she was actively involved in her youth group and spent many summers in Israel, cultivating a deep connection to her heritage. While studying at the University of Central Florida, Sharon played a pivotal role in developing active Hillel programs on campus, further strengthening her passion for Jewish community engagement.
Sharon began her career at Temple Judea in 2006, working in the Margaux Early Childhood Preschool. She quickly rose through the ranks, becoming the Youth Director in 2007, Temple Program Coordinator in 2013, and Director of Engagement and Outreach in 2015. In 2019, she was appointed Associate Executive Director, and in 2020, she proudly stepped into her current role as Executive Director. With over 14 years of dedication to Temple Judea, Sharon continues to lead with a commitment to fostering a meaningful and vibrant Jewish experience for the congregation.
As Executive Director, Sharon serves as the chief administrative officer, overseeing daily operations, financial management, staff supervision, and strategic planning to ensure the smooth functioning of temple programs, services, and facilities. She works closely with clergy, staff, and lay leadership to foster a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and inclusivity. Additionally, she is dedicated to membership engagement, community partnerships, and program development, ensuring that Temple Judea remains a welcoming and dynamic hub for Jewish life.
Beyond her professional role, Sharon brings a deep love for Israel and Jewish traditions, striving to create an environment where families can connect, learn, and celebrate. A self-proclaimed connoisseur of Israeli cuisine, she is always on the lookout for the best shawarma and hummus. When she’s not working, traveling, or indulging in delicious food, you can find her on her paddleboard or cheering for the Miami Heat.
Sharon is also a devoted mother to her three children—Alex and Max, born in 2013, and Stella Jordan, born in 2017—who inspire her every day to build a strong and vibrant Jewish community. With her unwavering dedication and visionary leadership, she looks forward to many more years of serving Temple Judea and its families.
Danielle F. Spiegelman

With 30 years of leadership experience spanning both non-profit and for-profit sectors, Danielle Spiegelman is a seasoned executive specializing in organizational management, revenue generation, and strategic partnerships. Since joining Temple Judea in 2017, she has played a pivotal role in advancing the institution’s mission, overseeing fundraising initiatives, and strengthening public relations efforts.
Before Temple Judea, Danielle served as CEO/Executive Director of Cancer Support Community Greater Miami (CSCGM), where she spearheaded groundbreaking initiatives, including launching the first Pediatric Oncology Program in partnership with the Carnival Foundation, establishing the first Haitian Cancer Support Group, and forging hospital-based partnerships with Baptist Health South Florida/MCI and Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. She also created Guardians of Hope, CSCGM’s first multi-year giving society, and co-hosted the Cancer Moonshot 20/20 Summit alongside The White House.
Prior to CSCGM, Danielle was Campus Development Director at Temple Beth Am, managing all fundraising efforts for the $24 million Home for Our Heritage Capital & Endowment Campaign. From 1999 to 2007, she was Marketing Director at The Falls shopping center, leading marketing, branding, crisis management, and corporate partnerships. She secured $1.8 million in non-tenant revenue and was recognized as a Top Marketing/Regional Business Partnership Performer. Earlier, she held leadership roles at the University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Condé Nast Publications, and Pace Communications.
A dedicated community advocate, Danielle has received numerous accolades, including the Woman of Distinction Award from Hadassah of Greater Miami and the Children’s Home Society Outstanding Volunteer Award (three-time recipient). She has served in leadership roles with the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, Temple Beth Am, and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.
Danielle holds a B.S. in Advertising from the University of Florida. She resides in Palmetto Bay with her husband, Marc. Their eldest son, Logan, is a University of Florida graduate, Austin is a junior at Florida State University, and Ethan is a freshman at the University of Florida.
Seth Lewis Levin

Seth Lewis Levin is the Director of Education at Temple Judea in Coral Gables, FL. He supports his staff in fostering curiosity and engagement among Jewish learners of all ages. Seth brings a wealth of experience in teaching and educational leadership from various institutions across the country, including congregations, camps, public and charter schools. Previously, he served as the Director of School Leadership at Bezos Academy, a network of tuition-free preschools in underserved communities. Seth began his career as a community organizer before becoming a social studies teacher in New York City's Department of Education.
Seth holds multiple degrees, including a Masters in Teaching Social Studies from New York University, a Masters in Public Administration in School Leadership from Baruch College, a Masters in Library and Information Science from Long Island University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in European History and French Studies from Wesleyan University. He is a certified educator in several states and has taught and led educators at various levels.
Outside of his professional life, Seth has served on the boards of Congregational and Community organizations, Parent Teacher Association Executive Committees and coached his children’s baseball and soccer teams. He is an unapologetic “book worm,” collector of Jewish texts, photographs and recipes and has also recently become a committed student of Mussar. He lives with his wife Kami, their children Sydney, Elijah and Ava, their dog Abigail Adams and cat Fifi on Key Biscayne.

Thaisy Antunez has been part of the Temple Judea community since 2007, beginning her journey as a teacher at the Margaux Early Childhood School. While capturing children’s learning through videos and photographs, she discovered a passion for storytelling and marketing. This led her to take on a larger role in shaping Temple Judea’s communications. Now serving as the Director of Marketing and Communications, she oversees the temple’s branding, designs and produces the Tidings (Temple Judea’s quarterly magazine), manages the website and social media, and leads all event communications to keep the community engaged and connected.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in marketing, both from Florida International University. Deeply inspired by Temple Judea’s commitment to Tikkun Olam, she feels fortunate to work alongside people who bring joy and kindness into the world.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and baking—having even won Temple Judea’s Employee Challah Bake-Off—spending time with family and friends, and soaking up the Miami sunshine with her partner, Chris. Having grown up at Temple Judea, she is grateful to be part of such a warm and welcoming community.
Gaby Enser Tangir
B'nai Mitzvah Director

Gaby Enser Tangir is the Director of Judaic Studies and Youth Leadership at Temple Judea, where she oversees programs for students in 4th through 12th grade, including the B’nai Mitzvah program. She’s been the B’nai Mitzvah Director, at Temple Judea for over 20 years, creating a space for every student and family to foster their Jewish identity. She’s developed a B’nai Mitzvah Club program for 6th and 7th graders(BMC), providing these students a sense of community and leadership. Our BMC focuses on small groups learning, one-on-one tutoring, intentional teaching and comprehensive support. After the success of this one of a kind experience, Gaby developed BMC Jr for 4th and 5th graders to get our pre-teens ready for what’s to come and to have more opportunities for them to read and comprehend Hebrew with a bi-weekly exposure to our ancient language. Working closely with the Director of Education, Gaby develops and implements engaging programming for all children and teens.
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Gaby studied Hazanut (Cantorial Education) and Social Communication, specializing in publicity and education. Since immigrating to Miami with her husband Ariel in 2002, Gaby has been an integral part of the Temple Judea community.
Her career at Temple Judea began as a Cantorial Associate, shifting to B’nai Mitzvah Mentor, and soon after Director. She currently brings her excellence in Jewish education throughout our congregation, making her the glue to all generations. Gaby has been and continues to be an inspiration in our community.
Becca Lago

Rebecca (Becca) Lago is a graduate of the University of Arizona, where she earned a degree in Business with a minor in Communications. With nearly 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, and brand management, she transitioned into entrepreneurship, co-founding Ginger & Juice Bar with her sister, Miriam.
Her commitment to community service is evident through her current and past roles, including serving on the Board of Trustees at Temple Judea, Vice President of Community Service for the Women of Temple Judea, participating on the Educational Excellence School Advisory Council (EESAC) for Pinecrest Elementary, and being a member of the Hometown Advisory Board for the City of South Miami.
In addition to her professional and volunteer efforts, Becca enjoys spending time with her family—husband Mark and their three children, Hayden, Ethan, and Madison. She finds joy in substituting, immersing herself in nature, and attending sporting events. Her passion for giving back and connecting with her community is at the heart of everything she does.
Jackie Vera

Jackie Vera began her journey at the Margaux School in 2007 shortly after graduating high school. While pursuing her bachelor's degree in recreational therapy, she ventured beyond the education field, exploring various opportunities. However, it was at Temple Judea where Jackie discovered her true passion and decided to establish her roots and nurture her professional growth. After graduating college, a profound love for education blossomed within her, prompting her to pursue a master's degree in early childhood education. Throughout her time at the Margaux School, she has continuously evolved, assuming different roles in her quest for professional development. Over the course of a decade, she has been fortunate enough to be a part of this welcoming community. Today, as the Margaux School’s Early Childhood Director, Jackie has achieved her ultimate career goal. This achievement fills her with immense gratitude for the opportunity to contribute and lead within this exceptional institution and community. Jackie lives in West Miami with her husband Danny and their mini schnauzer, Louie. Jackie and Danny were married by Rabbi Jonathan Fisch in 2021. Jackie is the ultimate foodie who enjoys trying out all the best spots in Miami. She loves to spend time with her family and taking short trips to the Keys.

Janice Garcia has been a valued part of Temple Judea for over 18 years, helping families navigate the registration and enrollment process with efficiency and care. She has a keen eye for detail and a talent for problem-solving, introducing new systems to keep operations running smoothly. Her expertise in financial processing, staff coordination, and program administration ensures that everything behind the scenes supports not just the educational programs but Temple Judea as a whole.
Outside of work, Janice is a dedicated mother to her three daughters—Tiffany, Daniella, and Natalie—who inspire her every day.
